Meet Ian Buchanan
Ian is our fourth feature from our shoot with Young Life College.
Year: Sophomore.
Personal style in one word (or a couple): Old-school. Throwback and useful. I ride my bike everyday so I wear commuter jeans. Anything useful that’s also practical. Old Dad closet.
Why is personal style important to you: I think it’s expression. Comfort is good. I think it’s a way to communicate what you’re about.
Style icon: Marty McFly from Back to The Future. I got a calculator watch in homage to him. It keeps time and does math. It’s practical.
Dream vacation: I would love to go and bike through Scotland.
A trend you wouldn't try: Crocs.
Favorite stores to shop at: I like Urban Outfitters but don’t usually buy stuff from there. I channel that into Goodwill. Levi’s. Vans. Levi’s is my favorite brand for sure, I’m very loyal.
First date outfit: I would ideally love for a first date to be super casual so jeans and vans or boots and then maybe a t-shirt or a short-sleeved button-down. I would hope it would be something active and fun.
