Jenny Beasley//English + Secondary Education
Meet Jenny Beasley
Jenny is fashionable without trying too hard and knows that a smile is a girl's best accessory.
Personal style in one word: T-shirts are forever.
Style Icons: Taylor Swift, Emma Stone.
One piece of advice to underclassmen: Talk to people. Wherever you are, just be friendly.
Favorite places to shop: Forever 21.
Dream vacation: I want to go abroad. I haven’t traveled that much and I just want to see other parts of the world. That would definitely be with my sister.
Favorite part about being a English major: At JMU, English is a relatively small major so I’m essentially taking classes with all the same people and the same professors so it’s a really cool community to be a part of.
Coffee or tea: Coffee—Vanilla Creamer.
Best part about being a frog: Getting to meet and become great friends with so many people is awesome. You spend the bulk of your day with them so that’s really cool.
Favorite part about the FrOG outfit (or least favorite part): Khaki shorts. They don’t look good on anyone.
Why is personal style important to you: If you’re having a bad day, you can dress up and feel better. You don’t have to have one style that’s you.
What are you most excited for this year: I should be finding out if I get into grad school so I’m excited for that. I’m excited about my classes because I’m finally in my practicum. I’m doing community-service learning in a special education classroom so I’m just really excited to see where that takes me.
