22807 Magazine Staff//Part I

Threads is possible because it is under the umbrella of 22807 Magazine, a student-run publication on the campus of James Madison University. Getting to know the seniors that work on the staff has been bittersweet but Threads wishes them well on their post-grad journeys. Check out some mini-interviews below and get to know the amazing minds that have dedicated their last semester at JMU to this fantastic, up-and-coming magazine. This is a two-part post, with the second post being posted next week!

Meet Taylor Vollman//SMAD

Social Editor

Personal style in one word: Princess.

Style Icons: I jokingly tell people that my style is Jackie O meets Dolly Parton. I like anything colorful. I wear a lot of 50s silhouettes. I wear hot pink almost everyday.

Dream vacation: A very posh trip through Europe. I’m not an outdoorsy kind of person.

Coffee or tea: Tea.

Why is personal style important to you: The way you dress is another indicator of your personality. I’d rather people just expect Taylor from when they meet me and just know me as loud and out there.

Favorite part of being a SMAD major: I’m a Journalism concentration but I’ve been able to do a lot of

things outside the specific Journalism perspective.

Song that never gets old: Anything from the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack especially “Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap.
