Sam Valentine//SMAD
Sam Valentine, a Junior SMAD major, is your classic country guy. “I feel most comfortable in a flannel or sweater, jeans, and boots.” He also enjoys the finer things: “I have a really, really nice pair of dress shoes. They’re light brown, cap-toes with a leather sole. It’s good to have a really nice pair of dress shoes.” Since coming to JMU, Sam feels his style has grown up a bit. “I’ll still wear my old flannels and my leather jacket.” Sam also had some insight into girl’s style. “I like when girls wear dresses. I especially like the things that girls wear in the fall. Leggings, boots, sweaters. I feel like in summer, girls try too hard to look good.” Good advice, Sam!
